Dorothy Ramos
House of Faith Independent Living was founded by Dorothy Ramos, who has spent years providing dignified, person-centered care for adults with developmental disabilities in Plant City. In that work, she kept seeing the same heartbreak: people leaving correctional and institutional settings - veterans, individuals with disabilities, and men and women simply trying to come home - with nowhere stable to land. She watched how a single missing piece could quietly undo months of hard-won progress. House of Faith is her answer: a place built to catch people at exactly that moment.
